Castiglione della Pescaia is the most famous tourist resort on the south coast of the Maremma: a combination of nature, sea, cultural and artistic heritage to visit which make it unique in its kind. The medieval castle dominates the village and the ancient streets to which it belongs can be visited especially in the evening to enjoy enchanting sunsets and the sea breeze. This seaside resort is suitable both for those who want a relaxing holiday and for lovers of sport and active life. There are many bars and restaurants suitable for every budget, and the beaches are equipped with bathing establishments where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, surf and paddle. You can easily move around on foot because the distances are short, or by bicycle along one of the many cycle paths.
