Located in an area of the Isarco Valley famous for its apples and wines, the family-run Hotel Clara is set in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps and comes with a garden with several lounge areas. Popular excursions include hiking in the Dolomites, visits of cultural attractions, and cycling thanks to the bicycle track right outside the property. Every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some units are equipped with a balcony. Access to the hotel's relaxing wellness centre with various saunas, a steam bath and an indoor and outdoor pool is comprised in the rate. Various massages are available at extra costs, and a fitness room can be used. The mountains in the back, a view to the south, a lounge with a fireplace, and pizza and other culinary specialities at the restaurant provide Hotel Clara with a mix of alpine and Mediterranean atmospheres. Theme evenings with live music are arranged, and guided bicycle tours are offered for an additional fee. The BrixenCard is included, and allows free admission to several local attractions, as well as free use of some cable cars and of the local public transport. Brixen is 2 km from the hotel, and a bus to this town leaves every 15 minutes.
