Large apartment, located in a two-storey building which was once a coach house, on the grounds of an ancient convent dating back to the 14th century, recently renovated with the utmost care, respecting the original features. The interiors preserve antique furniture that belonged to the owner's family, ancient frescoes, majestic fireplaces and original floors, vaults and arches. The complex is immersed in the silence of the countryside, in an area of 130 hectares of fields and woods, 1 km from the river Po, the largest in Italy, and 13 km from Cremona, a beautiful town renowned for the construction of violins ( here was born the famous Stradivarius). Also worth seeing is the town of Busseto (35 km) where Giuseppe Verdi was born. Possibility to have continental breakfast and dinner (extra on request), prepared by the owner with genuine products, in the hall of the convent. The apartment has a double kitchenette and two living/dining rooms on the ground floor.
