An 18th-century town house, the Corte Palmieri lies in Gallipoli's historic centre, 200 metres from the white sand Purita' beach. It offers a luxurious sun terrace and unique Mediterranean-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at Relais Corte Palmieri & Il Chiostro - Residenza d'epoca have vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors. Each offers a minibar and air conditioning. Breakfast is Italian style and during the summer it is served on the roof terrace. A range of restaurants, bars and cafés are a 5-minute walk away. Sant'Agata's Cathedral is 200 metres away, and the town's many churches and historic buildings are within walking distance.
