Situated just a 2-minute walk away from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, Akakura Wakui Hotel offers simple accommodation with natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire property. Guest rooms are fitted with a TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Guests can try on Japanese Yukata robes and sip complimentary green tea in the room. Some rooms feature traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Wakui Akakura Hotel provides free luggage and ski storage services. Ski pass purchase and equipment hire are available on site. Free internet PC can be used at the lobby. Scenery paintings of old Japanese landscapes can be enjoyed. The hotel is a few steps from a free shuttle service to the Akakan Ski Area, a 1-minute drive away. It's a 10-minute drive from Myoko-Kogen Interchange on Joshin-etsu Expressway, and a 15-minute drive from JR Myoko-Kogen Train Station. Free shuttles are offered from the station with advance request. Guests can enjoy seasonal Japanese multi-course dinner and hearty breakfast. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat dinner at the property must make a reservation at time of booking.
