Rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and river or garden views. The Japanese-style rooms at Ryokan Arai come with futon beds and shoji paper screens. A green tea maker and flat-screen TV are equipped. The ryokan is located in the centre of Shuzenji hot-spring district and is a 10-minute bus ride from Shuzenji Train Station. Niji-no-Sato Theme Park is 2 km away and a bamboo forest is within a 2-minute walk away. Arai Ryokan offers 2 public indoor hot-spring baths and 1 outdoor bath. There are also 2 private reservable indoor hot-spring baths. All are available free of charge. Guests can also stroll through the garden or enjoy a game of ping-pong.
