Kurokawa Onsen (about 10 minutes by car) One of Japan’s most famous hot spring towns, Kurokawa Onsen is home to over 30 traditional ryokans. With the “onsen pass,” you can hop between beautiful open-air baths surrounded by nature. At night, the streets are softly illuminated by lanterns, creating a magical and nostalgic atmosphere — perfect for an evening stroll. Kuju Forest Park Ski Resort (about 10 minutes by car) One of the largest ski resorts in Kyushu. In winter, guests can enjoy skiing and snowboarding, while in summer the area offers hiking, stargazing, and many other outdoor experiences.
