Le camere dispongono di pavimenti in tatami (paglia intrecciata), su cui gli ospiti dormono in letti futon tradizionali. Nella sala ristorazione vengono serviti pasti a base di riso e verdure di produzione propria. La struttura offre una colazione giapponese e una tradizionale cena kaiseki a più portate. Lo Yunosako dista in auto 25 minuti dalle Kuju Kogen Highlands e 60 minuti dal Monte Aso e dalla stazione della funivia Mount Aso-Nishi. Si trova proprio accanto alla fermata dell'autobus Tanohara.
