My name is Joan, the manager at dreamplace bed and breakfast. I have managed dreamplace for the last 7 years and have heard the privilege to host several hundred guests. I lived on site at the guest house for 2 1/2 years and had great engagement with the guests. I have since developed a great team of associates who take care of the guests. I have gathered experience in general management over the last 20 years working with multi nationals based in Nairobi, Atlanta and Toronto. My time with the multinationals afforded me an opportunity to travel widely. While at dreamplace I have further enhanced my skills and experience in guest engagement, customer service, relationship and sales management. property management, employee management, purchasing, revenue management, strategy and business planning, accounting/financial management and process improvement. My areas of interest include cooking, hospitality, traveling, swimming, reading, walking and running, fishing, research, volunteering in regards to childrens activities, early childhood education , nature, animals, Nigerian movies, financial education and empowerment, counseling and guidance.
