A quaint, unique townhouse found in the most picturesque street in Cospicua, converted to a bright & beautiful design. This gem boasts a multitude of colours and is an ode to our Maltese heritage. If you are looking for a real, authentic Maltese stay - Dar Emanuela is the place for you.
The host is a young individual with a passion for Maltese heritage, who wishes to share his beautiful abode with those visiting the Maltese islands in which he has been born and bred.
Cospicua, also known as Bormla, is a double-fortified city located on the East side in the Grand Harbour of Malta, opposite Valletta. Cospicua is surrounded by Senglea (Isla) on the West and Vittoriosa (Birgu) on the East, making up the Cottonera region, also known as The Three Cities. Cospicua is the largest of the three and was declared a city in 1722 by Grandmaster Marc Antonio Zondadari. Triq l-Oratorju is one of the most beautiful streets within the fortified walls of Cospicua, boasting colourful traditional Maltese balconies and an overall picturesque experience. Cospicua is 15 minutes away from the Airport by car/taxi and a 10 minute ferry-ride away from Valletta. This ferry ride is free for all those holding a 'Tal-Linja card' and it departs from a dock which is 5 minutes away from Dar Emanuela (on foot). From our home, one can comfortably roam the Three Cities (Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua) that surround the Grand Harbour, on foot. As for beaches, Rinella Bay is 3km away, and one can also drive to the seaside village of Marsaskala in less than 15 minutes. Marsaxlokk, the traditional fishermen’s village is a mere 7km away.
