Dar Mandragg has been operating since 2021 and is focussed on providing authentic stays in Rabat, Għawdex (Victoria, Gozo in English). Ever since the owners first visited the city nearly fifteen years ago, they have been fascinated with the architecture, ancient street plan, vibrant squares and fascinating alleys. Guests are welcomed from all over the world and are offered a real taste of life in this truly unique destination.

Situated in the narrow alleyways of the old town of Victoria in Gozo is this 500 year old house of character with private outdoor courtyard. All the amenities of the town are close by or only a short walk away. The narrow alleys are mostly traffic free and are therefore quiet and peaceful. The main bus terminus for the island is a 10 minute walk away. Victoria is in the centre of the island so it is easy to explore everywhere from here. Fully licenced by the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA).

The narrow alleyways which surround St George's Basilica form the oldest town on the island of Gozo. Originally laid out in the time of Ottoman rule, the streetplan is similar to that of the medinas of Morocco and North Africa. Many of the houses, including this one, are between 4-500 years old. This farmhouse would originally have been on the edge of the village, allowing the farmer access to the open fields. Many of the inhabitants of the area have lived in these streets for all of their lives. There are a number of bus stops only a few minutes walk away from the house or the main bus terminus for the island is around 10 minutes walk away. From there you can get buses all over the island. There is also a taxi rank a few minutes walk or you can use taxi apps such as Bolt or eCabs. There are a number of on-street electric mopeds which can be rented to via Whizascoot.
