Located on the outskirts of North Ari Atoll, Gangehi Island Resort & Spa features a diving school, spa, and a long sand bank. It offers rooms situated over water, on the beach, or within tropical gardens. Plenty of water activities await guests. Snorkelling and fishing trips can be arranged, while canoes are available for guests' use. The resort also offers open-air yoga sessions. Other facilities include the Ginger Spa for Ayurvedic and traditional massages. A qualified diving centre, well-equipped gym, beach volleyball court, and a library with books and DVDs are also available. Featuring spacious verandas, the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a ceiling fan, a fridge, and a safety deposit box. Bathrooms offer hot and cold showers. Surrounded by coral reefs, Gangehi Island Resort & Spa is about 25-minute from Male International Airport by sea plane. It is a 15-minute boat ride from Gangehi Kandu, a spectacular diving spot. Veli Restaurant serves buffets with international cuisines, including Italian, Asian and vegetarian dishes. Offering panoramic views of the sea, the bar offers cocktails and wines.
