La Amada Residences is a luxury residential community. A significant portion of the apartments are second homes for foreigners or wealthy nationals. Everyone is friendly and loves to meet new people. All that we ask is that you follow the rules and be respectful of others. There’s is a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch within the complex that offers service by the pool and on the beach. There is also a full convenience store and Starbucks coffee shop located on the ground floor of the building the apartment is in! If your plan is to enjoy the sun, beach, views and generally have a nice, chill stay then there’s no need for a car. If you plan to drive into the city regularly and/or go on day tours and stuff I recommend that you get a rental car or hire a driver (it will be cheaper than getting a taxi each time). Note: Uber is available in Cancun but I highly discourage you from using it. It is not safe as there is continuous conflict with the taxi union in Cancun.
