The apartment was completed in the summer of '23. It is bright and modern, and consists of a kitchen with all amenities, a living room with a sofa area and TV, a bathroom with a large shower, a hallway, and a bedroom with a built-in 150 cm bed. All rooms have windows with views of the Hammerfest harbor area, Melkøya, and Håja. The apartment is located on a side street without traffic, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. Our street is quite narrow and not suitable for long-term parking. You're welcome to stop right by the house to load or unload, but for parking, please use the designated municipal spots or the parking garage in the town center. It’s just a 5-minute walk away. We’re a couple in our 40s with no children, and we share our home with a small senior dog who’s now 15 years old. Traveling as much as we used to has become a bit more difficult because of her age, so we decided to build this apartment to bring a little bit of the world to us instead. We both work in different departments in the hospital administration and live a fairly quiet and low-key life down here in our little corner of the world.

The property is located on a side street with no traffic and few neighbors, on a plateau right above the sea. Below the plateau, there is a trail you can follow all the way to the city center if you're not in a hurry. You can use the garden if you wish and have a coffee on the bench in the summer. In winter, it's possible to see the northern lights from the garden if the weather is clear. However, the absolute best view is from Salenfjellet near Turistua. There is a busstopp 7 minutes from the house that will take you anywhere is the city.
