Cottage centrally located on Gaustablikk with a lovely view of Kvitåvatn, Toreskyrkja and Gaustatoppen. Has a 38 m2, unashamed, cozy and sunny terrace. The cabin has a good standard and is recommended for family of 4-7 people. Immediate proximity to Gausta alpine resort (check Gausta own web side or app about season opening etc.), the area's cross-country trails, Gaustablikk mountain resort and lykkelige sportsman. Good starting point for several mountain hikes outside of winter. * two parking spaces follow the cottage approx. 20-30 meters away. It is possible to drive right up to the cabin to unload luggage. But very slippery in winter. * the kitchen is well equipped. * The cabin is self-catering, i.e. you must bring bed linen, towels, kitchen towels. * Dogs are only allowed by agreement with the owner. * WIFI, Apple TV and T-WE * Firewood is included in the price. For stays of 2 nights, 1 sack of firewood is included in the price. For longer stays, 2 sacks of firewood are included. One sack is equivalent to 16 logs or a 40 liter sack. * Wash out on departures is included in the price. * The cabin must be cleared and carbage removed on departures.

Gaustablikk is a wonderful place for mountain tours, alpine skiing, randonee and cross-country skiing and more. Many nice hiking opportunities in both summer and winter. Several places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Its recommended to download the Gausta app, which contains a lot of good information about skiing conditions, activities and the place in general. Bus line 200 runs round trip Gaustablikk (lykkelige sportsman) to Rjukan (also cross track) in winter.
