This is a recently renovated cottage offers plenty of privacy and is only a 5 - 7 minutes' walk to the centre of town. Located on a back section, it is well off the road and fully fenced, there is heaps of room outside for the kids to play! The queen-sized bed and single both have electric blankets, there is also a heat pump in this house. On rainy days enjoy Sky TV with the start-up package as well as Sky Sport and Sky Movies. A logburner with a fireguard will keep you warm in winter. There is a large double garage for parking and plenty more room to park other vehicles if required. Ideal for families and great value for those on a budget.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
