Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. It features a chemical-free outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities. All of the cottages at Avalon Resort have a kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The living areas include cable TV, DVD player and a large seating area. Hongi Hika Park is 2 km from the hotel. The Kerikeri Golf Club is just over a 15-minute walk away. Avalon is just over 15 minutes’ by car from Bay of Islands Airport. Guests can relax with a massage or time in the sauna. The leisure activities available nearby include canoeing. The resort also features a library stocked with books and DVDs. Resort Avalon offers an airport shuttle service upon request and has free private parking on site.
