Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Free transfers to and from the airport and ferry terminal are available. Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island is less than 5 minutes’ drive from Stewart Island Airport and only 400 metres from Stewart Island Ferry Terminal. It is a 5-minute walk to local restaurants and shops. Each suite features a private balcony or patio, central heating and a stylish bathroom with tiled floor. The kitchenette includes a microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Facilities include a coin-operated laundry and on-site barbecue facilities. Free car parking is provided. Highchairs and portable cots are available for children. The Kaka Retreat considers the health and safety of our clients, our staff, and the Stewart Island community, to be extremely important and we are dedicated to doing what we can to prevent the further spread of Covid-19 amongst them and throughout New Zealand.
