Mahakipawa Waterfront Hideaway is a two bedroom Marlborough holiday home, where you can relax and unwind. Although this holiday house is easily accessible by road, as guests attest - the surrounding native bush gives a secluded and private feel. This home has a huge sunny deck that is perfect for eating, entertaining and relaxing whilst taking in the view of the tidal Mahakipawa Arm. When the tide is up kayaks and paddle boards can be launched from the end of the front garden, with shoreline access just a stone's throw away. At low tide, you can fossick along the craggy shoreline of the Arm or take a stroll along the Link Pathway, which crosses the properties driveway, or perhaps do a loop taking in both. After a day of activities there is nothing better than soaking in the cedar & stainless hot tub, set on a lower deck surrounded by bush and bird life. The holiday home includes many modern facilities so you can have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The spacious bathroom has a shower over the bath, while the well-equipped kitchen includes a dish drawer and Nespresso coffee machine for your convenience and enjoyment. The water supply is treated with filters and UV in a modern, but natural, purification process that's completely eco-friendly and chemical-free. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area (with TV) opens out to the deck and the house is easily warmed or cooled as necessary via a modern heat pump. There are two bedrooms, the first has a queen bed, desk and TV, whilst the second has two sets of single bunks (4 beds). The living room couch can serve as a single bed, offering some flexibility, but please note that guest numbers are limited to a maximum of 6. The house has wifi, and the two TV's come equipped with Chromecast, loaded with free-to-air and streaming service apps, so you can watch your favourite shows after a busy day in the bay.
