Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Located 5 minutes walk from the lake and 20 minutes walk to Wanaka town. This quiet gem allows you to snuggle up in the winter by the fire after skiing or BBQ on a balmy summers evening after a bike or walk. Wanaka is a paradise that awaits you! Care has been taken to ensure comfort in your stay with 3 stylish queen bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen down to coffee maker, laundry facilities and best of all ample lounging area indoors and out.
Sandy and Brendan are your hosts for your stay at Matai Cottage. We are as available or not as our guests wish us to be. With self check in and all instructions available by QR scan, we allow our guests to have the experience that they are wishing to have. However, we do live next door to the cottage so are happy to help whenever needed.
Matai Cottage is located on a leg in section on a very quiet Wanaka street. It is close driving distance to the heart of Wanaka and the commerical shopping area. It is 5 minutes walk to the lake and from there a 15-20 minute walk to the Wanaka Lakefront. Wanaka offers a range of experiences that we are happy to help with further personalised information on request. Whether it be information on skking, biking, hiking or food if that is more your thing, do not hestitate to contact us.
