Rolf and Monika consider themselves fortunate to have grown up in the beautiful Berner Oberland in Switzerland. Both have a deep passion for travelling and exploring new ways of life and cultures. In 2009, they made the deliberate decision to move to New Zealand to create a more balanced work-life dynamic. They are wholeheartedly committed to hosting guests at their subtropical property, offering valuable travel tips, and indulging them with delicious homemade treats. Rolf, a highly skilled engineer and builder, has an unwavering love for motorbikes and the great outdoors. Monika is a dedicated producer of organic food, and she takes pleasure in gardening and creating delectable homemade goods. Both deeply cherish their pets and are unwavering in their commitment to caring for the environment and our planet.

Conveniently, there is a small shop and a fish & chips takeaway on the main road. There are numerous restaurants in Omokoroa and Te Puna. Kiwifruit and avocado orchards are close by, and our neighbors have horses and sheep grazing. Our property is a mere 10 minutes from Omokoroa Beach and a stunning golf club. Additionally, it's only 10 minutes from the Bethlehem shopping area with restaurants. Cycling, walking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and horse riding are all readily available nearby.
