Just a 3-minute drive from the heart of Ohakune, guests enjoy a sauna and a spa and wellness centre at The Peaks Motor Inn. All rooms feature a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace with mountain views. The Peaks Motel is a 2-minute drive from the base of Mt Ruapehu and a Lake Taupo is a 1-hour away. Whanganui is a 1-hour and 15-minute drive away. All heated rooms feature a lounge area with a satellite flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is a dining table and ironing facilities. The bathroom has free toiletries, a bath tub and a shower. Guests can work out in the fitness centre, or prepare a meal using the BBQ facilities. You can explore the surrounding area using the hire bicycles. Other nearby activties include hiking and skiing. Also on offer are laundry facilities.
