Our guest studio is situated in a private garden setting next to our family home. Once the original wash house for our 125 year old villa, the space has been lovingly renovated to provide a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. The studio space is equipped with a queen bed, quality linen bedding, TV with all the major streaming services, ensuite and kitchenette. Step outside through French doors onto your own private deck with an outdoor bath - perfect for enjoying the native birdlife or taking in the amazing night sky. Wake up to the aroma of freshly ground coffee from Raglan Roast, paired with free-range eggs from our chickens, homemade granola, yoghurt, and organic milk sourced from a local creamery - all included in your continental breakfast. And for those special occasions, we’ve stocked the fridge with welcome drinks to kickstart your stay.

We run a real estate photography business, and when we’re not busy taking photographs or wrangling our kids, we love going on adventures or spending time in our garden. We've travelled a lot over the years and we know what we love (and don't love so much) when staying in a BnB. We're passionate about providing simple, clean accommodation with lots of little touches to make a stay extra special.

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of surrounding farmland, it’s easy to forget we’re just a 5 minute drive to Te Awamutu town centre and 15 minutes to Cambridge with great cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping. Stroll down the road to the historic St Paul’s Church (the second oldest building in the Waikato) and take in the history of the Rangiaowhia area via Te Ara Wai. Or venture out and explore the wonders of Waikato, with major tourist attractions just a short drive away. The Ōtorohanga Kiwi House, Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Sanctuary Mountain at Maungatautari, and Hobbiton are all within easy reach.
