This hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas is idyllically set among green fields, mountains and the Urubamba River. It features luxury rooms with river views and several amenities. The 5-star Hotel Rio Sagrado is built in natural materials, resembling an Aldean village. Its stylish accommodation combines regional and European influences. It offers heated wooden floors, a scenic terrace and a Swiss shower facing the river. At Spa Mayu Wilka, guests can treat themselves to massages with local herbs. For additional relaxation, there is an indoor pool, a sauna, and a hydromassage tub. Activities organized by Hotel Rio Sagrado range from horse riding and cycling to rafting and fishing. Cultural programs and cooking classes are available too. The beautiful El Huerto Restaurant & Bar offers gourmet Peruvian dishes made with organic ingredients. Guests can also sit in the garden while having a drink by the river. Hotel Rio Sagrado is 5 minutes by car from Urubamba town and a 15-minute drive by car from Ollantaytambo Train Station. By train, it takes 1,45 hours to get to Macchu Picchu. The hotel provides a tour desk to help guests plan their visit.

When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. The tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest.
Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
In accordance with the new provisions in force as of April 17, 2021 (DS No. 005-2021-MINCETUR)For the entry of minors accompanied by one or both parents, it is mandatory to carry the passport or identity card of the minor. It is also a requirement to present at the hotel, the birth certificate or birth certificate; as well as passport or identity card of the accompanying parent, as appropriate.
According to Peruvian law (Law No. 28194), cash is not accepted for payments from PEN 2,000.00 or USD 500.00. These currencies must be settled by credit card or other methods approved by the hotel and Peruvian Law. Payments cannot be split between currencies.
