The seven self-check-in properties found at DUNA by DW contain all the usual dreamer-hospitalities plus a vogue and well-appointed backyard pool. Unexpected florals by local designer Marcos Toledo, bright white spaces, radiant porticos and desert accents beg you to add an extra day to your trip. And the super-fast WiFi, clean desks, and lobby-free quiet mean you can work from paradise—pausing at lunch, of course, for a four-minute walk to the beach and a mid-day Atlantic dip. Stop by the Dreamcatcher for vegetarian snacks, then drift back to Duna for an outdoor shower in the warm Caribbean sun.

DUNA by DW is located on a quiet side street in the neighborhood of Ocean Park in San Juan, only a 5-minute walk from the beach. Within walking distance are cozy cafes, delicious restaurants, fresh fruit stands, a yoga studio, a farmer’s market, grocery stores, boutiques, surf shops, hair, and beauty salons, just to name a few. Ocean Park is a safe beach neighborhood and only a 10-minute walk from Condado, a highly touristic area packed with even more restaurants, spas, and shops. The Historical Old San Juan is a 10 minutes car or Uber ride and so is the airport. Staying in Ocean Park, you will enjoy more of a local flair than the typical tourist experience.
