This hotel is situated within one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, Castelo de Óbidos. It combines 14th century medieval accommodation with modern facilities in the heart of the village of Óbidos. All the air-conditioned rooms at the Pousada Castelo de Obidos have a fully equipped private bathrooms. Some rooms include stone walls, four-poster beds and chandeliers. Guests can start their day with a breakfast buffet, while the Pousada's restaurant offers locally produced Portuguese cuisine. There are several cafés and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Activities such as hiking and horseback riding can be arranged at the tour desk. Guests can walk through the castle and take in the historical architecture and gardens. The castle has lounge areas with special features such as medieval suits of armour and paintings. Caldas da Rainha is located within a 10-minute drive. Peniche, Nazaré and Batalha are 30 minutes' driving from Pousada Castelo de Obidos. Lisbon International Airport is a 55-minute drive away. Free parking is available on site.
