This early 1800s castle is 10 minutes’ drive from Västervik. It offers fine dining, spa access at an extra cost and a private beach. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy views of the castle garden or the Baltic Sea. Gränsö Slott’s à la carte restaurant serves traditional regional cuisine. The sommelier is happy to assist when choosing wines. Light dishes, snacks and freshly baked pastries are available in the hotel café. The large on-site spa spreads over 600 m2 and offers indoor and outdoor hot springs, as well as various types of saunas. Other facilities include free bicycle rental. Västervik Golf Club is about 5 minutes’ drive from Hotel Gränsö Slott. Ferries depart regularly from the castle’s private dock for the nearby archipelago islands.
