Whether alone or up to 8 people - this place with the three detached log cabins with lake view in the typical Dalarna style will fulfill your longing for nature, seclusion and idyll. Forests, fields and lake, all on your own property with private access to the lake (no sandbeach), offer many opportunities for a relaxing holiday exclusively for you (no other guests). One or both of the two small cabins are included automatically if your booking is more than 4 persons (limited availability during winter times). Please be aware that you need to bring your own bed linens, bath towels and dish towels (when you cannot take them with you, because of e.g. travelling by plane, we most likely can organize these for you at a minor expense). Pillows and blankets are available.

our familiy owns this farmhouse and we use it also privately. We like the nature around it for hiking, running, cycling (also great for mountainbiking) and swimming. As we are living quite far from the place, we also like to show others this beautiful location. Please enjoy and respect it.

There is information and maps in the top drawer in the hallway. Båthusen (the Boathouse) - A few hundred meters away at the lakefront, you can visit the boathouse of Rönnäs, with both one of the local public beaches/swimming sites and probably the largest collection of new and old so-called church boats with the oldest from the 18th century. There is even the village sauna, that one can rent for private use. Please contact us if you want to use it. Ice Cream from the farmer (Gårdsglass) – In Hälla (Hälla Osträngsgattu 30) a local farmer produces small scale ice cream, that you can buy in the self-service shop (swedish pay-app “Swish” or cash). At several farms you can buy local products. Beach Östra Rönnäs – The second public beach/swimming site of the village is located in Eastern Rönnäs, ca. 1-2 km away. Follow the sign from the main road down to the lakefront. There is a sandy beach, a rack, a floating pontoon and fireplaces. Ice Cream kiosk (Glasskiosk) - A short walk towards the village you find ice cream to buy just before the mail village road. The self-service kiosk is outside, and open during the summer time. (payment by “swish” or cash). Leksand - In Leksand there are shops, restaurants, cafés, the swedish monopoly liquor store “Systembolaget”, sport facilities, medical services and much more. Insjön – In Insjön there is a shopping mall area with e.g. the largest “Clas Ohlson” shop in Sweden with an integrated museum, factory outlet Lundhags and also the flea market is always worth a visit. Nusnäs – The place at Lake Siljan is 10 km south-east of Mora in the municipality of Mora. It is best known for producing Dala horses. The workshops can be visited. Falun - Nice town ca. 45 min away, with impressive coppermine from the 16th century (UNESCO Welterbe). Also one of two of Sweden's Nordic skiing headquarters with world championship ski-arena and much more.
