Set in a renovated 1860s farmhouse, this inn offers views of the Baltic Sea and the barren limestone plains of Stora Alvaret, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wi-Fi is free. All rooms at Mellby Ör Inn feature wooden floors, flat-screen TVs and a private terrace or balcony. Guests can pick up breakfast in the fridge of the shared kitchen, where they can also prepare their own meals. Mellby Ör’s relaxation options include a guest lounge, a terrace with a barbecue grill and free bicycle rentals. The medieval-era Eketorp Fort and the Ottenby Nature Reserve are within 15 minutes’ drive of the hotel. The reserve has a bird observatory, from which up to 377 species have been spotted.

Great location in the heart of the world heritage of Öland lies this idyllic newly renovated 1860’s Farm. Enjoy a weekend or a full week retreat in the countryside! Perfect for a couple's romantic getaway or a great family vacation. Beautiful view of the Baltic sea and the Alvar. This very comfortable Inn consists of 8 spacious rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. You will also find 3 fully equipped kitchens so that you can plan and cook your own meals.
The farm was built in 1860 and run as a beef and dairy farm until the early 2000s. Chris and Agneta moved back to Agneta's home village after 20 years away working in the Luxury Yachting industry, living in The Caribbean, Bahamas, and Florida to have their lifelong dream of building and running their own B&B.
Remote Farming area. Great for hiking, bird watching.
