You're welcomed by beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The hut located 1000m above sea level, is part of a mountain farm with sheep and fallow deer. Great starting point for hiking in the Julian Alps and relaxing in silence of the beautiful nature with heaps of streams, gorges and waterfalls with clean potable water. The evening is brightened by the starry skies, which are particularly full and bright in our area.

We handmade the house from natural materials and want to share it with people who also care about nature.

There are several mountain pastures nearby (Planina Kuhinja, Kašina, Leskovca, Zaslap, Sleme, Medrje, Pretovč...) where they make cheese, cottage cheese and butter. You will be able to see the production process of these products, taste them or buy them. The nature here is beautiful, full of crystal clear water, waterfalls (Gregorčičev waterfall, Brinta, Koseška Korita...) and lakes (Lake Lužnica, Krnsko jezero, Most na Soči...) as well as peaks over 2000 m above sea level (Krn, Mangrt, Kobariški Stol...).There are several climbing areas in the nearby area, such as; The climbing area Pod Kopitcem, the Nadiža climbing area, the Čiginj climbing area... Remnants of World War I are visible at every turn, and you can see them all in more detail in the Kobarid Museum. The excellent food prepared in the surrounding restaurants can also be a beautiful and unforgettable experience. A very famous restaurant is Hiša Franko (Katja Roš), with two Michelin stars.
