As someone that is naturally curious, creative and a little bit of a risk taker, I am constantly seeking opportunities to re-invent myself in ways that offer me more freedom and the ability to be more supportive of the family’s needs as well as my own. After about 8 years of being a landlord, I made the decision to shift my business model and try something new.

Tapping into my creative side and desire to do more for family, I was curious and eager to see how I could create something different in the furnished rental space, enter Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC. Abbreviated KFR and pronounced, KAY-FAR, Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC provides affordable, fully furnished short-term lodging, appealing to those needing temporary housing. Our units offer routine housekeeping, free parking and an opportunity to live differently in a new, unique environment, during your stay in Denver. The suites are adorned with beautiful Kenyan art that helps transform the spaces from boring rooms with blank walls, to rooms filled with life and the story of Kenya. The art also helps create conversation and unique experiences for our guests.
MISSION: To provide a home away from home for those visiting Denver for vacation, work or medical treatment. We currently also serve those relocating to Denver. Our goal is to prioritize hospitality and responsive customer service, while providing well-appointed and pristine accommodations at an affordable price.
VISION: To promote art and its use in spaces, cultural awareness and appreciation for both. We support emerging Kenyan Artists by showcasing their work in our suites while at the same time sharing and celebrating the Kenyan culture through art and many other creative ways.

Discover the Heart of Kenya: Enjoy a long or short stay in Our Authentic Living Spaces. Suite 35A, with private sunroom and located on a quiet cul-de-sac, provides furnished accommodation to those that need it. The suite offers a unique living space, intentionally designed to mimic the warmth and simplicity of an average Kenyan home. We take pride in our gently used furniture, cherishing every scratch and imperfection. Luxury isn’t our goal; instead, we embrace humble living

A routine cleaning is completed every 30 nights or at check-out for shorter stays. Weekly cleanings recommended for longer stays (available for a small fee). Bi-weekly (or mid-stay for shorter stays) complimentary linen exchange. Cleaning supplies and equipment provided for guest use.
Central air conditioning and heat.
High-speed Wi-Fi.
Dedicated workspaces.
75-inch Sony Smart TV in living room. Multiple streaming apps and Roku Stick (sorry, no local cable).
Tub and Shower Combo.
Board games to include an authentic chess board made from Kenyan wood in the suite.
Queen-size beds, extra pillows and mattress padding so that guests can adjust beds to their comfort level for that great sleep.
Designated Outside Only Smoking areas.
The suites are equipped with air purifiers to help provide cleaner and fresher indoor air for guests, capturing airborne allergens and particles (dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, certain viruses and bacteria and even VOCs from cleaning products and building materials).

From friendly climate, lots of local attractions, to great vibes, in this small, big city that is Denver, there is a little something for everyone, young and old. There are not a lot of places in America that can combine urban and mountain experiences as well as Denver and nearby metropolitan cities which includes Lakewood, CO.
This listing is close to public transit, stores, parks, restaurants, coffee shops & dispensaries. 10 minutes from the Mile High Broncos Stadium and closer to multiple hospitals for the traveling nurse professional. Minutes from Downtown Denver (which houses 50+ independently owned CO restaurants/boutiques/activities!). Convenient to DIA, light rail & bus lines.
Quality School districts (JEFFCO Public Schools). Easy commute to nearby campuses and hospitals/healthcare facilities, for students and healthcare professionals.
We have many parks nearby; Aviation Park, Morse Park Neighborhood, James J. Richey Park, Edgewater State Park, Citizens Park pavilion, Citizens Park, Memorial Park and Spring Ridge Park. For the sport enthusiasts, we are only minutes from Coors field and Empower field at Mile High (the Denver Broncos stadium). Want more culture? The Colorado state Capitol building, Denver Art Museum, Air & Space Museum just off of the famous Colfax Avenue. Want to be close to Denver - without the Denver prices, this is the perfect rental space! Not so far from us is the Denver Botanic Gardens, Downtown Aquarium, Big Blue bear & more attractions.
The area is very walkable and bikeable. Also has good transit with many nearby public transportation options. 10-minute walk to the Wadsworth light rail station. You can also take a short 15-minute Uber/Lyft ride to Downtown Denver. Lots of ski resorts within easy drive. Bike to the nearby Sloan’s Lake to enjoy a run around the lake.
