Welcome! We hope that you have a wonderful stay at our special property. Relax and enjoy the natural surroundings and make lasting memories with friends and family! Please remember to treat our home and belongings with the same respect that you would expect if someone were visiting your home. Our family (Jeff, Jess, our son JJ and Nelson, our big friendly Bernese Mountain Dog) live in Freeport, Maine. Jeff owns and runs an international sports & educational travel company, ActivSport Travel and Jess is a high school Math teacher at Maine Connections Academy in South Portland. Our passions lay in soccer, skiing, travel, and being outdoors. We hope you will enjoy your time at our home as much as we do, and we hope you find our house manual and our recommendations helpful for exploring the area. Enjoy our home and have a wonderful stay! Your very own private slice of Maine mountain paradise! This newly acquired, spacious chalet is just 3 min away from Sunday River's Ski lifts, walking distance to 2 microbreweries, and just 5 min from Bethel's charming town center and attractions! The spacious backyard leads to the river for swimming and fishing. Enjoy proximity to some of Maine's best hiking in Grafton Notch State Park! All the comforts of home, WiFi, TV, & full kitchen, Experience Maine's mountain lifestyle at its finest! The house is located on Sunday River Rd. very close to the Great American Ski Rental equipment shop and across the road from Steam Mill Brewing a brewery/restaurant. We are located just close enough to the action, but still in a relaxing and private location to spend time with your loved ones. The Sunday River (the actual river) is a short walk from our backyard for summer swimming, fishing, etc. Our chalet has classic wood and stone with high ceilings and offers a spacious, yet cozy feel to create a perfect environment to get away from it all and enjoy an authentic Maine experience! The entire house and property is yours during your stay!

Our property is on Sunday River Rd. between Sunday River Brewing Company and the ski resort! The classic New England village of Bethel offers all of the tourism amenities of a quality 4 season mountain town with shops, grocery stores, farm to table restaurants, bars, and more. Our chalet is only minutes away from Carter's Cross Country Ski center; one of Maine's best. Finally, you will love the proximity to Sunday River Resort's 8 interconnected ski mountains boasting 135 trails over 870 skiable acres. Outside of winter, Sunday River Golf Club is one of the top courses in Maine and the ski lifts run for hikers and mountain bikers to enjoy Sunday River's scenic and exciting trails! Our chalet is located on the Mountain Explorer shuttle line, just a short walk to the Riverbend stop. This allows you to avoid dealing with parking at the resort.
