My name is Piyumi; born and bred in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I moved to New York City in 2012 to attend grad school. I am a Social Worker and Licensed Therapist. I live in North Bergen NJ with the center of my world: my partner and son.
I enjoy my Sri Lankan black tea (with milk!) mornings and evenings. We love to dance salsa, bachata and merengue and are trying very hard to get our son grooving to it as well. I have a ginormous extended family that loves to visit each other wherever in the world, always sitting around a dining table or couch with cup of tea in hand, probably laughing too hard.
My guiding principles in life:
