We are a couple with grown kids, grandkids, and we have had foreign exchange sons who we think of as family. We enjoy family, traveling, cooking and working on our home. We live in one of the original townsite homes of old downtown Twin Falls, ID. We also enjoy taking our dogs to the dog park, walks to listen to music downtown during the summer, and visiting all the waterfalls we have in the area. During your stay We like to give guests their space, however we also enjoy meeting new people. We will follow your lead. If there is anything at all that we can do to improve your stay, please reach out to us through the Airbnb platform. If you see us working around the property, we’ll gladly stop and chat, but that’s only if you’d like. :)

Experience the charm and coziness of this recently updated guest cottage. Immerse yourself in the urban pioneer spirit of a reviving downtown community. Relax and unwind as you step into this studio retreat. Guests can enjoy their own private Studio Guest Cottage and are free to enjoy the grassy common-area yard. This backyard guest house is 1 of 3 houses on the property. It enjoys a fenced yard which it shares with another little guest house. The other units are currently unoccupied & being remodeled. Any work being done will be done during reasonable work hours. Since the other 2 houses are still a work in progress, they are not yet in the same updated condition as the guest house you’ll be staying in. There may be someone entering the backyard to access the 2nd guest house while it is being remodeled. They will respect your privacy. The property is an overall work in progress, however we are so excited to share this unique historical district guest cottage with you! Owner’s motorhome is stored in the driveway next to this Cottage, as seen in the listing photos.

The neighborhood which you would be staying in is known on The National Register of Historic Places as, “Twin Falls Original Townsite Residential Historic District.” It’s within walking distance of Downtown Twin Falls. This part of town is going through some changes. Think urban pioneer. Twin Falls invested millions into the Downtown Renovation project. With new restaurants, breweries, a cooking store, ice cream shop, cheese shop & an old fashioned theater we now love walking to Downtown Twin Falls. The neighborhood itself consists of older homes, multi-family dwellings, a school and businesses. It’s about a 7 minute walk or 0.3 miles to Downtown Twin Falls shops, restaurants and entertainment. We are located along the original main avenue of our little city. Across the street is a small high school. Behind the cottage is a designated gravel parking space for Cottage B. Across the gravel alley are the backyards and garages to other homes. There is an empty lot directly across the alley behind the cottage. There may be parked vehicles in the empty lot. Local attractions: Shoshone Falls (6 mi), Perrine Bridge (4.5 mi).
