Less than 5 min walk to Amtrak/VRE train, Potomac River/Dock, Restaurants - 10 minute walk to movie/bowling alley/gym (for DOD), 5 min drive to golf course (public can use golf course). Virginia highway to town goes through military base you need “REAL ID” equivalent and need to get a visitor pass for entry.

Bungalow on 4th is located in the Town of Quantico (Q-town) which is accessed through the Marine Corps Quantico base via Fuller Road. Q-town started in the early 1900s and in 1917 the Federal Government purchased all surrounding land, landlocking the town making this the only town in America completely surrounded by a military base and the "town that can never grow". There are quaint restaurants and coffee shops, many barber shops, and the beautiful Potomac River all steps from the home. The property also has a separate garage with apartment above it (across from backyard) which is also available as a furnished rental as well. Please be respectful of the space/do not enter the steps up to apartment but you may use the walkway alongside the area to go to alley/over to the town/to the marina etc. Street parking in front of home is available just steps from entrance. VRE/Amtrak train station is 5-10 minute walk (going west of home) and can be used to transport to/from DC and/or Fredericksburg.
