Yet, it's also the perfect home base for exploring, with Castine (17 miles), Belfast (18 miles), Bangor (19 miles), and Acadia National Park (35 miles) just a few of the attractions within an easy, scenic drive. In many ways, this home is an ideal blend of proximity to nature and familiar creature comforts. After a day spent hiking, kayaking, or sailing, return home to unwind on the deck, relax in a bit of air conditioning, or log onto the high-speed WiFi to share photos or catch up on email.
