This is the beach house one dreams of - it's right on the beach, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night, you can swim in the sea every day. This is our family beach holiday house, our home from home. We find it to be easy, no-fuss living, with all the facilities and amenities you need, including an indoor heated plunge pool for those chillier days. Two of the bedrooms include open plan bathrooms and there is one “family” bathroom. The accommodation includes a separate flat above the garage which sleeps 2 and has its own shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is a dream to cook in, with all the mod cons you could need, including an airfryer and Nespresso machine. We don't have satellite TV as the beach, crashing waves, starlit skies, puzzles and boardgames are plenty entertainment. WiFi is available and uncapped. This is the perfect family holiday spot, and many of our guests return again and again. If you are looking for Egyptian cotton linen and Jo Malone toiletries, this is not the place for you, but we love comfort, cleanliness and practical luxury, and believe you can find that here. The house does not come serviced for stays shorter than 10 days - in other words, you must make prior arrangements with me if you wish a cleaner to attend. For long stays, the cost of a cleaner every 6th day is included.

Cannon Rocks is a tiny seaside village, where the children can safely ride their bikes to the local shop or to visit one another, and still close enough (10 minute drive) to Kenton-On-Sea so that you can get a quality cup of coffee, artisan bread and some local artworks. The beach is ideal for swimming, walking and surfing, and Cannon Rocks is a world-renowned kite-surfer’s paradise. If you get tired of beach swimming, Boknes is a 5 minutes drive away where you can swim in the lagoon or take a canoe up the river. Bushmans River and Kariega River also offer waterskiing opportunities, and there are plenty of games farms in the area for a day safari or longer when the wind is blowing. And then there's the fishing...
