Featuring a large garden with an outdoor swimming pool, Footprints offers accommodation with views of the Knysna Lagoon and is located a 10 minute drive from Knysna Heads. Located in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood this property is not suitable for parties or group gatherings. All of the heated rooms at Footprints of Knysna include a private balcony with views of the pool and garden. They each have a kitchen or kitchenette, a satellite TV and an en suite bathroom. All accommodation is self-catering - no meals provided. A number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisines can be found within 2 km from the property. Guests can also make use the barbecue facilities, and there is secure parking on site. Footprints of Knysna has free WiFi available throughout. The staff are available to provide information to guests about attractions and activities in the area. This property is situated in a quiet suburb, with the town of Knysna only a 5-minute drive away.

Footprints of Knysna is owner run with the most stunning views of Knysna Lagoon and the dramatic Knysna Heads. The property is fully fenced and parking is secure - ideal for all self drive guests. There is a sparkling swimming pool (recently revamped) and secluded, beautifully kept lush green gardens where guests can relax and soak up the sun and atmosphere in this peaceful suburb. This is NOT a suitable venue for parties or gatherings due to the tranquil nature of the neighbourhood. There is a peaceful, relaxed, "feel good" atmosphere and high standards in our beautiful guest accommodation. All apartments have access to self-catering and TV's with satellite tv and free WIFI. With her own particular brand of hospitality, passion for tourism, caring nature and new ideas and energy, Kitty continues to stamp her own footprint on this tried and trusted accommodation. Footprints is full of character and gives you a relaxed, 'feel at home' environment set in the stunning surrounds of Knysna’s flora & fauna. Views of the Knysna Lagoon, Knysna Heads and architect inspired Thesen Islands from all accommodation.
Kitty has many years of involvent in the tourism and hospitality industry, a passion for nature and creation and a love of humanity – reflected in the open, friendly and ever helpful approach with guests. Kitty is your hands-on but unobtrusive host at the guest house and will gladly assist with advice, information and bookings for Knysna and the Garden Route during your stay. We give you the options – you make the choices. Bella and Marble are the resident hound dogs – our loveable young companions. Young and boisterous and lively - full of energy, love and silliness – both love people and are part of the family and part of the property - they rule the roost, protect the people and property, provide love and entertainment and are professional beggars. Sorry – no other pets allowed by order of our own furry friends.
Upper Old Place is a quiet suburb, set back from the N2 and is peaceful and quiet with amazing views over the Lagoon and Knysna Heads. We are close enough to town - approx 5/10 minutes for shops, restaurants, galleries, activities etc. and only 10 minutes to the Knysna Heads and outlying forest walks and excursions. We are very conveniently situated for visiting so many world renowned and wonderful places along the Garden Route. Indigenous and exotic trees and plants attract birds, bees and butterflies and the stars light up the vast night skies.
