Penni Korb and Zane du Plooy, together with staff members Christina and Thandi are managing Rosewood Corner. Penni and Zane spent many years working in Game Lodges but are enjoying the beautiful mountains and surrounds of Clarens.

Property information

Rosewood Corner is situated in the Main Street within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs, art galleries etc. All rooms at Rosewood Corner lead onto the garden which has outdoor seating and communal braai facilities. Room 4 (Lavender Cottage) has its own braai facility. The hiking trails in the Clarens Conservancy are also easily accessed from Rosewood Corner. There is a fee per stay for access to the Conservancy - details are provided in the rooms. It is advisable to purchase a map which has all the trails and details clearly marked.

Neighbourhood information

Clarens is known for its beautiful surroundings, wonderful restaurants and pubs (including The Brewery which is famous for their beers and other craft drinks). Golden Gate Nature Reserve is about 20 minutes drive from Clarens and offers superb hiking and overnight trails. Clarens is very popular with cyclists and hikers and the Clarens Conservancy offers numerous marked trails to cater for both. Drive into Lesotho for a unique experience, skiing in winter at Afriski or to the beautiful Maliba Lodge.
