Sanfern Downs Cottage is an open plan cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom en suite that can accommodate a couple or a single person. It is set on a family farm in a tranquil, quiet and beautiful garden surrounded by pine plantations. Outside barbecue facilities can be used when relaxing to the soothing forest sounds. You can take walks on the farm and enjoy the abundant bird life. Great spot for birders.
Your host will be there on arrival to welcome you to Sanfern Downs Cottage and to make sure you are comfortable .
Our closest neighbour is approximately 100meters away. The quiet rural setting is the perfect spot to relax, put up your feet and to breathe in the fresh clean air where your worries can be a distant memory. Visitors can enjoy the short walks available on the farm and walk the Chartres pattern labyrinth. The area boasts many activities such as birding, cycling and guided walking trails in the Afro Montaine Forests and Grasslands. Spring time on the farm show cases hundreds of vibrant flowering azaleas, crab apple trees and flowering cherries. Haenertsburg village is 9km away where a variety of quaint shops, restaurants and pubs can be visited. The famous Pot n Plow pub and restaurant is close by where you can enjoy a pizza or pub meal. Kruger National Park is 1 hours drive away.
