The IBIS Port de plaisance is located in the centre of Caen, just 750 metres from the Château de Caen and 350 metres from the Church of Saint-Pierre. Excellent location. New, modern and parking.

There is a restaurant attached, with McDonald's next door, lots of options for meals. The bathroom made me think of a spaceship, which was fun; the shower was good. The public area on the main floor was comfortable, and they would get you coffee or tea if you asked. Parking was plentiful. Public transportation is not far and made it very easy to get into town. The second night, the restaurant was changing their menu, and we were invited to taste-test everything for free. It was excellent, and an example of how friendly and accommodating they are.

Easy to get to by car. Staff had good English. Room was clean and comfortable. Always like staying at Ibis hotels. Would stay again if passing. I really liked and was surprised by the signed poster of the singer Angèle just by the elevator :)
