Incredible Stay at SO/ Maldives – Truly Unforgettable! We stayed for 7 nights in an overwater villa at SO/ Maldives. This was our first trip to the Maldives, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice — the hotel is incredibly stylish, brand new, and absolutely stunning in every detail. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive to our wishes. We celebrated a birthday during our stay (and it turned out to be the best celebration ever!) — the team went above and beyond to make the day feel magical, with heartfelt congratulations and thoughtful efforts that touched us deeply. We would especially like to thank Maria, who guided us from the moment we arrived until our departure, always helpful and supportive with everything we needed. Also a warm thank you to Luna for her kindness, care, and friendly assistance throughout our stay. We’re also grateful to the teams at the Watersport Zone and The Nest for helping us enjoy our time with fun and vibrant activities. The hotel offers a wide variety of experiences — we particularly enjoyed snorkeling, oceanfront yoga, and the creative workshops, all of which made our days even more special. Very good boutique hotel. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. They booked the transfer back there and we didn't have to do it anymore. The dinner menu is great, if you want you can order from all four courses. The waiters are friendly and attentive. Thank you for everything, we had a great time.

I stayed one night at Hulhule Island Hotel in Malé after my speedboat transfer to Dhighura was cancelled due to rough seas, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the location and facilities are excellent — perfect for a short stay near the airport. I even had the chance to enjoy a quick snorkel right there, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and I want to especially thank the kind egg chef who noticed I was struggling with an injured hand and helped plate my food — such a thoughtful gesture! The bar staff were also fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended even if it’s a bit pricey — the service and comfort make it well worth it.

We had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.
