It is a true 4 star hotel located less than a half block (USA) from the main square in a building erected during colonial times (I am assuming). You cannot beat location. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Nicely decorated lobby and the rooms. You get what you see in the pictures.

Set in a colonial style building dating back to the 18th Century, Parador Santa Maria La Real offers stylish rooms with private balconies, only 1 block from 25 de Mayo Square. The owner of the hotel is really nice and shows the small museum. All the staff are really friendly

In downtown Sucre, Villa Antigua is set in a colonial mansion with documented history going back to the XVI century. Villa Antigua is an absolutely beautiful Hotel! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless clean, and the view from the rooftop-terrace over the city and mountains is great! Plus a central location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. There is even a nice little cafe attached to it. I would absolutely stay here again!
