It was a very quiet, simple but comfortable room. You can reach the city center in 5 minutes by foot. On our first night we could even witness a neighbourhood/street festivity. Our room was equipped with two wide beds, two fans a bench to put our stuff and a private bathroom.

From the moment we arrived, Lucila and her family welcomed us with warmth and care that made us feel like we were part of their home. Their kindness and attentiveness are unmatched – they truly go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. The property itself is stunning. The rustic yet elegant design perfectly complements the natural beauty of the desert. The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. Το Hotel Luna Azul Tatacoa που προσφέρει κήπο, μπαρ και εστιατόριο, είναι σε Villavieja. By far my favorite place I stayed during my 3 week trip. Truly a magical oasis in the desert. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed, tours, food, and even transportation back to the airport. The location was great, so quiet, yet close enough to town if you needed to go. The pool was nice and clean, the room was superclean, the air conditioning worked great too. The place is really unique, thoughtfully decorated with lights at night and really cool places and decor that the birds loved to land on, making for great bird watching as well. They always had coffee available too and tasty food from the restaurant. I would go back to this same hotel for sure.

Our stay was absolutely amazing (special thanks to Hilda and the entire staff for being simply amazing). We booked a 3 people tent which not only had a fan but an air conditioner as well. The property was clean with bathrooms situated in various convenient locations. The property also has a nice pool (where we spent our afternoons and evenings). The property is situated 10 min walking from the town of Villavieja (good location). The staff was simply amazing: accommodating, hard-working, always smiling and always made us feel welcomed and at home. We will keep them in our hearts 🤍
