Dominique’s lodging options just outside Bayeux were perfect for our 5 days in Normandy! We were met by our dear host, Dominique, in a such a beautiful and calming environment of goats, cows, flowers galore, the birds calling, and listening to the frogs around the fish pong - so restful after our busy days. Bring your ingredients and the kitchen will have everything else - one small and one larger dining table, sink, full-sized refrigerator, full stove and oven; dishwasher, utensils, dishes, pots. The bedrooms are comfortable, have good storage and lighting, have fresh linens and pillows on the comfortable and are simply but stylishly decorated (one bedroom has a queen bed; the other has two twins). There is also a cozy living room for six people, as well as a picnic table, various chairs, a sauna, hot tub and pool in the back yard. This remarkable lodging is truly Dominique’s labor of love.

Only 2 km from the D-Day landing beaches, Le Clos des Pommiers offers B&B accommodation in a modern house. You can relax on the furnished terrace, by the garden, or in the shared living room. House was perfectly located by all the sites. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
