The hosts are kind, friendly, helpful and accessible, yet always discreet, and their optional table d’hote featuring Thai dishes is superb. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The interior is stylish, well preserved and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. A mid-sized pool is in a beautiful garden. The bus stops in front of the house and takes you to Strasbourg. The bakery and boucherie are 5 min. on foot, a big supermarket is in 1.5 km. Marlenheim boasts the northernmost grand-cru in Alsace, the family-owned winery Domaine Fritsch is 5 min. on foot.

The Michelin-starred restaurant was very good, but the prices were much higher than essentially any comparable Michelin-starred restaurant I've been to (and that's a few...). Also, the only breakfast option was a 45 euro / person buffet, while their bakery is close almost half the week...
