Both breakfast and dinner were excellent – great variety, tasty options, and a really nice atmosphere in the dining area. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway in nature. The location was excellent—peaceful, yet close to nearby attractions. Our host, Mr. Chris, was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind. He made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit, and his warm hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend Csenger Vendégházak to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. I’d love to return someday!

The 4-star Avar Hotel was built in 2020 and it is located at the foot of the Mátra mountain. It offers garden, wellness center, 24-hour front desk, room service and luggage storage. Hotel czysty, nowy, super jedzenie.

I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding

Nice resort with hot springs, a pool, and a gym — though the facilities are a bit dated. Nothing beats a hot soak after skiing. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. All in all, worth a stay!

Hotel Ózon & Luxury Villas is a 4-star superior hotel set in the Mátra mountain range, surrounded by the Mátra National Preserve. Friendly staff, excellent location, indoor/outdoor pools and many activities around.

Obiekt Kastélyhotel Sasvár Resort położony jest w miejscowości Parádsasvár na wzgórzach Mátra. I forgot my reservation with half board, and had dinner before arrival. My suggestion is that hotel should remind customer the last order time of restaurant for late arrival. I had a similar experience in Dolomites when I was driving to the hotel with a late arrival.
