Atmosphere was pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large deep bath with fast running hot water was a real luxury.

An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Carlow, Seven Oaks 4 star Hotel is a welcoming hotel, ideally located just 5 minutes walk from Carlow Town Centre. Very comfortable and clean. Ready early and very friendly. Nice bar and plenty to choose from with drinks and menu.

Within 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxurious hotel and spa boasts an 18-hole championship golf course and a 20-metre swimming pool. I was hopeful but cautious because I'd read very mixed reviews before we went. But honestly our three nights were absolutely fantastic, the perfect rest. I can't wait to go back. The food was exceptionally well cooked with a good range of choices. The staff (especially in the dining room) could not have been more friendly, professional and personable. It went beyond what I had hoped for and I have bookmarked Mount Wolsley as a perfect getaway and retreat.

The accomodation was perfect - it was comfy, peaceful and was a hidden gem. The cabin had everything we needed and the kids were delighted and loved the whole experience, we just wish we had been staying another night!
