We had reserved rooms with "mountain view", but the rooms were actually on the backside of the building with views of the valley rather than Etna. After much discussion, we were able to pay an extra 20 Euro per room to move to suites with Etna view. The only rooms with Etna view are the three suites with jacuzzi baths, all on the ground floor. The pool is nice, but really doesn't have much of a view as there is a large building next door.blocking the view. The suites were very modern with comfortable beds.

Die Unterkunft Virdamuri - Etna Country Resort mit Bergblick in Giarre bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem Garten, einer Gemeinschaftslounge, einer Terrasse und einer Bar. Lella, die Gastgeberin, hat hier liebevoll und mit viel Hingabe eine sehr schöne, ruhige und sehr gut ausgestattete Struktur geschaffen, Es fehlt an nichts, sie liegt gut, ist knapp 50 Minuten vom Flughafen und von Taormina entfernt, von hier aus können unterschiedlichste Ziele auf der Insel angepeilt werden. Die Anlage ist neu, mitten im Zitronen- Orangen- Palmen- etc-Hain. Der Zugang ist einfach, wenn auch ohne Beschilderung. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin ist jedoch problemlos und schnell. Giarre ist nicht "touristisch, für uns war dies aber ein positiver Aspekt. Die Appartements sind groß, sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, der Blick auf den Ätna ist teils vom Schlafzimmer, Terrasse, Balkon oder vom Swimmingpool immer möglich. Parkplatz ist vorhanden (+E-Ladestation), Lella und ihr Team sind sehr freundlich, herzlich, Rücksichtsvoll, nehmen sich Zeit, geben gute Ratschlage und Tipps für Wanderungen, Essen, Wein, etc. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und von hoher Qualität. Wir haben 2 Wochen in Sizilien verbracht und uns hat der Aufenthalt hier am besten gefallen.

We are a couple with 2 kids had the most wonderful stay at this amazing hotel. The property is beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful, with a calming atmosphere that made it the perfect escape. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the views were simply breathtaking—you can see Mount Etna in the distance, surrounded by endless vineyards. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the service. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They made us feel so welcomed, and really made our vacation better. We left already dreaming of coming back—this place is truly special. Thank you for a perfect vacation.

The onsite staff member (Victoria) was quick to move us into a new room to ensure we were comfortable for the remainder of our stay. She was very pleasant and helpful. After our stay, we required a detailed invoice and the owner of the villa was kind a d quick to answer our request. The facility itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. There was lots to do within the grounds and a decent breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

The owner of the villa was a friendly and helpful person. The location is just in front of the Acireale Train Station and is half an hour away from the city center where Piazza Duomo can be reached. The apartment had a combined kitchen and living room, a bathroom, one big bedroom, and another bedroom on a terrace. It was furnished with all necessities, spacious, and very well kept. It is ideal both for the winter and summer periods. In winter it feels very cozy and welcoming while for the summer period, there are two outdoor pools. I was in Acireale for the carnival nevertheless there was a tranquil atmosphere. A truly relaxing experience. Certainly, not my last experience in this villa but will be back for sure.
