Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. The vacation at the hotel was unbelievable. We liked everything! About the hotel: the rooms are clean, spacious, the room had everything we needed. The hotel has a large parking lot. The corridors, common rooms, were very nice and cozy. Lots of decor, dishes, beautiful furniture. Every detail in the hotel is made or picked with love. The hotel has a very beautiful and well maintained area, from where you can see a beautiful view of the fields and even see the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the quietness. The hotel staff was very responsive, they helped us many times to solve our problems related to the trip in Italy. For example: they called us a cab so we could leave the nearest town, waited for us for late check-in, helped us build a path to the city of Perugia. This is a great place for a vacation!

Restaurant Dolium serves specialities of Tuscany and Umbria.... Outstanding hotel in the green heart of Italy. Comfortable, spacey, very very nice staff. The view you see when you wake up is heavenly. The food at the restaurant is excellent and theceşne list covers the local specials.

This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

Hosts were excellent. Met us, provided us with information but were unobtrusive. Villa was lovely and perfect. Two separate apartments. The pool was fantastic. Great views over the lake in an evening.
